FINAL E^2 CLASS

Our final class will be held Thursday, June 4th from 4:00-9:00pm. We will be having a Les Mis party. We'll discuss, share inspirements, eat dinner, play our cultural literacy game, and watch an edited version of the Les Mis movie.



Read: Les Miserables by Victor Hugo (Yes, the almost 1500-page unabridged edition)

MARCH E^2 CLASS

**We have a family conflict on the day we originally scheduled this class. We would like to hold it on Friday, March 27th. If there is a conflict with this date please let us know. If there are enough people that want to attend class that are unable to on this date we will look to reschedule class for a different day.

FEBRUARY E^2 CLASS

Read: Scientific Discoveries that Build Testimonies and Strengthen Faith by Dan Neville

**I have extra copies of the book that the author has generously supplied for each family that comes to class. If you need a copy and plan on attending class, let me know and I can arrange to get you one.

**This class has a new date. We will be meeting on Thursday, February 19th from 7-9pm at the Pack home.

Very Important: Please spend time and make an extra special inspirement this month. I think it would be very rewarding for our guest speaker to hear all that we've learned from the book that he wrote. What an opportunity for us to share what we learn with the author of this month's book!

Take notes: Take notes of how the book correlates with our monthly doctrine that we are studying of the plan of salvation. Specifically, why is it important to seek learning by study and also by faith. What are examples from the book of this principle and the blessings that flow from living it?

Cultural Literacy: We will not have cultural literacy terms this month because we will have a special opportunity to have the author, Dan Neville, come and speak to us. We want to give him as much time as he needs!

NOVEMBER MASTER CLASS

Write and Email: Get yourself out of the box this week when you notice you are in it. Write your experience or consider a situation in which you need to forgive. Have you made the attempt before? What went wrong? What will genuine forgiveness require in this case? Is there anyone, in your experience, who seems to have lived the principle of forgiving, at least in part? What do you think has been the experience of living for this person? What kind of influence has he or she had on others?

Week 4:

Write a final paper or blog post about what you learned from this book throughout the month. Did this book change you? If so, how? Do you plan to move forward a changed person? Make a plan to how you are going to accomplish that and start doing it! Take your writing to Journeyman on Wednesday for review. Take your final paper to class when we discuss the book.
